In a span between 10 pm on December 11 and 10 am on December 12, a series of vehicle burglaries unfolded in South Salina.
Incidents occurred in different blocks, with the 700 block of Scott experiencing theft of miscellaneous items, including vital registration paperwork, from a vehicle parked outside a residence. Meanwhile, in the 800 block of E Wayne, two vehicles were unlawfully entered, resulting in the disappearance of various items. Notably, a red 2018 Ford Fusion was stolen from the north side of an apartment complex, where the vehicle's keys had been left inside.
At 12:15 am, an alert resident reported a suspicious vehicle in the 1900 block of Dover Dr due to its peculiar parking and open windows. Upon investigation, it was revealed to be the stolen red Ford Fusion, valued at $26,000.
