UPDATE: Vehicle Lost in Fire was Stolen Overnight from Central Salina

UPDATE: On Monday, September 25 at 10:16 am, the owner of the vehicle was identified as a 45-year-old Salina woman. She reported that the vehicle had been stolen from the 200 block of S 8th, where it had been parked.


ORIGINAL: On Monday, September 25 at 12:33 am, deputies were sent to the 4100 block of S Ohio, for a vehicle on fire. On arrival, they observed a possible Chevy Equinox on fire. The color of the vehicle was not identifiable. It appeared that the vehicle had been towed to the location. A partial tag read "_ _ _ - _ M T". The VIN # had been destroyed in the fire.
