One Cited After Rollover in North Salina

A Salina man was cited after a vehicle rollover this weekend.

Captain Forrester says that the accident occurred on Saturday, May 21 at 6:30 pm, at the intersection of Santa Fe and Pacific. A 2015 Lincoln MKC was being driven northbound on Santa Fe by a 31-year-old Salina man. The driver reportedly failed to stop at the stop sign, striking a 2013 Chevy Equinox being driven westbound on Pacific, by a 66-year-old Salina woman. The impact caused the Lincoln to roll.

The Lincoln had damage to both sides and its top, and the Chevy had front end damage. Both vehicles were removed by a wrecker.

The driver of the Chevy was cited for no proof of insurance and failing to stop at a stop sign.
