Roger Hoeh

Roger Hoeh, 73, of Beverly, Kansas, passed away surrounded by family after a life lived with faith, grit, and love. He shared his life and love with his wife, Jean (Sundgren) Hoeh, walking side by side through 46 years of marriage filled with faith, hard work, and devotion to family.

He was born June 15, 1952, to Jay and Zada (Olson) Hoeh, and grew up in Beverly, Kansas β€” the community and countryside he would call home his entire life. From an early age, Roger learned the value of hard work, humility, and faith β€” lessons that guided his life on the land he loved.

His passion for cattle, a good horse, and a loyal dog became his life’s calling on Sun Ranch β€” the land he tended, the herd he built, and the family he raised.

Roger faithfully served his community and cherished the friendships he made along the way. Whether through his work with local organizations or supporting neighbors and friends, he was always present β€” a steady friend with a quick wit and a generous heart.

Roger’s greatest joy came from his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved watching them grow up on the ranch, cheering at their games, hearing about their hunts, and teaching them to live with integrity.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jay and Zada Hoeh. Survived by his wife, Jean; daughters Amanda (Luke) Janzen and Kerry (Clint) Cramton; and grandchildren Cassadee, Emmalee, and Adelyn Janzen, and Case and Coyer Cramton.

His faith never wavered, and now his work here is done.

Please join us as we celebrate the life of Roger Hoeh. The graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Prairie Mound Cemetery, 2978 Avenue A, Mulberry Township, followed by a luncheon at Brookville United Methodist Church, 114 W Anderson St, Brookville.

We encourage guests to bring an outdoor chair if you would like to sit.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Brookville United Methodist Church or Prairie Mound Cemetery.

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.
