James Jore

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James Jore, a loving husband, father, and friend. James passed away at the age of 75, surrounded by his family.

James (Jim, Pops, Jimmy, Alfie) was a man who found joy in life's simple pleasures. He enjoyed sipping on a cold Coors Light while watching his favorite TV shows or cheering on the Kansas City Royals. But above all, Pops cherished spending time with his family, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

He will always be remembered for his kind heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering devotion to those he loved.

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Peggy, son, Derek, and daughter in law, Jesse, grandson, Will, brothers Ronnie (Marva) and Leroy, sisters Janice Jornod and Joyce Perry, and a wide circle of family and friends who will miss him dearly. Though he may be gone, his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Rest in peace, Pops. You will be missed.

Graveside service is July 27th at 11:15 am at Mt. Calvary Cemetery with a celebration to follow at H & M Saloon, 8873 S. Sunny Corner Rd, Assaria, KS, 67416. Casual attire requested.
