Robert E. Garrison, Jr.

Robert E. Garrison, Jr., passed away Saturday January 18, 2025, after a brief illness.

He was born August 2nd, 1963, to R.E. “Bob” and Elizabeth “Betty” Garrison in Salina, KS. He was his parents’ pride and joy.

Rob graduated from Salina Central High School in 1981. Being a proud member of the FFA, he went on to study agriculture at Kansas-State University, and finishing with a degree from Kansas Wesleyan University in 1988. He loved hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors. After school he worked at his dad’s grain elevator in New Cambria.

Rob worked full time for the City of Salina the majority of his adult life, as well as Baker Distributing, and part time at Waters True Value before retiring to do his passion of farming full-time.
In 1997 he married Kay Einhaus (Brin), and they began a   blended family.

He was a Freemason, Shriner, and lifelong KSU Wildcat. Throughout his life Rob and his dad farmed together, raising cattle and planting crops.

He loved history, cooking, and spending time with family and his many friends he considered family.

He leaves behind his wife, Kay of 27 years, his mother Betty; children Ashley Moyer, Tyler Brin, Jake Brin (Sasha), and Shelby Brin; grandchildren Clayton Brin, Lincoln Moyer, Briella Brin, Cole Moyer and Eliza Brin.

Preceded in death by his father Bob and Son-in-law Kevin Moyer.

Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. Saturday January 25, 2025, at First Presbyterian Church, 308 S 8th St. Salina KS  67401. A private scattering of ashes will take place at a later date.

Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children or Saline County/Dickinson County FFA.
