Randall A. Carrier
Randall A. Carrier, 72, of Salina, KS passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024. He was born in Salina, to Ray Allen and Royce Gaye (Linsenmayer) Carrier, on March 1, 1952. He married Margaret A. McMahon, on January 15, 1972.
Randy had a confident and forthright personality. His directness and openness in expressing his thoughts made him reliable, a committed business owner, a kind-hearted individual, and a caring husband, father, and friend. In many aspects of his life, Randy exemplified what it meant to live with authenticity and purpose. His legacy was not just in the success of his business but in the lives he touched and the positive impact he made on those around him, especially as a North Salina Businessman.
Randy loved spending time outdoors at their residence north of Salina, as well as going to the lake with friends. He was always ready to grab a slalom ski and take a run, regardless of the temperature.
He is survived by his wife, Margie, at home, sons Jason Carrier and his wife Clara Lucia in Naperville, IL, and Nathan Carrier and his wife Lindsey in Overland Park, KS. He is also survived by grandsons Nicolas Carrier, Benton Carrier, Beckett Carrier, and Ethan Carrier, step-sister Rita Macy and her husband Bob in Abilene and step-mother Shirley Carrier.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Shawn Bartow.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, August 15 at Ryan Mortuary, 137 North Eighth Street, Salina, Kansas.
The memorial service will be 10 a.m. Friday, August 16, 2024, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Fr. Kevin Weber as celebrant. Burial will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation of the Heartland.
Allen Ray Kopf
Allen Ray Kopf, 81, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Aug 10th, 2024 with his wife Susan by his side. Born in Missouri to Laverne L. Kopf and Marita “Rita” E. Kopf, Allen spent most of his adolescent and adult life in Saline County, Kansas.
As a young child, Allen was a natural country boy. He spent a lot of time with his grandfathers where he developed a love for the outdoors, a passion for fishing and a very colorful vocabulary. A vocabulary so colorful in fact, that he and his siblings regularly bathed with bars of soap that had teeth marks in them. This colorful vocabulary made him a natural fit in the firehouse where he had a long career as a firefighter, retiring a lieutenant for the Salina Fire Department in 1997.
He spent his days off from the firehouse working for Tink’s Auto Repair, hunting and fishing with his buddies and helping his friends and family with whatever they needed fixed. Allen was an extremely hard worker from a very young age and even after retirement from the fire department found a second career working for Saline County where he also retired.
Allen cared deeply for his friends, but nothing meant more to him than his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. You could not speak to him on the phone without telling him everyone you had talked to and how they were doing. As a husband and father, he did everything he could to make sure his family was taken care of. As a grandfather, he provided so many priceless and unforgettable memories that will be cherished for decades and generations.
He was preceded in death by his Parents.
He is survived by his wife Susan; children Jeff, Mike and Michelle (Fuester); stepchildren, Carole Drake, Michelle Long and Chris Cox; Siblings Dale Kopf and Brenda O’Gorman; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 10am Wednesday at St. Mary’s Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, Salina, KS. Burial will follow at All Saints Catholic Cemetery.
A vigil will be at 7pm Tuesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth Salina, KS. Visitation will be from 4-8pm.

Ivan Weaver Lobban
Ivan Weaver Lobban, 96, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Sunday, August 11th, at Reflections Retirement Resort, in Salina.
Ivan was born in Clovis, New Mexico on August 24, 1927, a son of Anna Mabelle (Simpson) and Zora Verne Lobban.
He attended McPherson College for 2 years, graduated from Bridgewater College in Bridgewater, Virginia and served in the United States Army.
Ivan was a Postal Clerk for 25 years, worked at Vulcan Metals for 3 years and SG Diesel for 8 years. He was a hospice volunteer for 17 years, volunteered for Habitat for Humanity for over 13 years, and was an avid blood donor, giving over 33 gallons.
On April 9, 1954, Ivan married Adelphia "Delphie" Borgstrom in Windom, Kansas
Survivors include his sons, Laine Lobban (Leslie) of Monument, Colorado, Lance Lobban of Norman, Oklahoma; and daughters, Ann Newcomer (Dave) of Salina, Kansas, Lindi Fahrenthold (Scott) of Solomon, Kansas, and Leesa Krehbiel (David) of Ooltewah, Tennessee;
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Ben Lobban, Carolyn Sepulveda (Tyler), Kirk Lobban, Sarah Brower (Drew), Hannah Lobban, Mia Lobban (Ronnie), Nara Newcomer, Jenna Seidel (James), Russ Newcomer (Diane), Rachel Eufinger (Myles), Hannah Petkof (Peter), Jessica Fahrenthold, Katrina Fahrenthold, Andy Krehbiel (Megan), Amanda Nadri (Souheil); and great grandchildren, Preston, Tatum, Solana, Enoch, John, Wyatt, and 3 on the way.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Leslie Lobban, Leonard Lobban, Elton Lobban; and sister, Ila Verne Stull.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 16th, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm with family receiving friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, 500 S. Ohio St., Salina.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, August 17th at Andover Lutheran Church, 117 Dakota Rd, Windom, Kansas, with Pastor Anna Borders officiating. Burial will follow at Andover Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Donations may be made to Andover Lutheran Church of Windom, Reflections Retirement Resort, or Interim Hospice, in care of the funeral home.

Keith E. Adams
Our loving father, Keith E. Adams, 88, fell into the arms of Jesus on August 3, 2024. He was born November 19, 1935. His parents were Lawrence and Lorene Adams. He was born and bred in Miltonvale, Ks. After high school, he joined the USAF. Following his honorable discharge, he became a Meteorologist Technician. Many of you heard his voice every day giving the weather report on KNCK.
Survivors are his wife of 40 years, Judy Hodson Adams of Wichita, KS. Special mention to his faithful dog, Zoey, who just doesn't understand why "Daddy" is not around.Surviving children with his first wife, Aileen Fuller: Debra, Michael, Beth and Tamra. Plus bonus sons: Wayne and Michael. Lots of other family members and friends left to reflect on the joy Keith left us.
Our daddy loved Jesus, George Jones, Golden State Warriors, the movie: Cast Away, Worship Music, all kinds of sports, including the GOAT, Tom Brady plus his Branson friends and all of us, most of all.
Homegoing celebration is scheduled for August 23rd at 2pm at Lakeview Cemetery, 12100 East 13th North, Wichita, KS 67206
