Redneck Paradise Mud Run

They traveled in from all over Kansas, and from states away, to attend the 1st annual Redneck Paradise Mud Run. The father/son duo of Jay and Thomas Durham, who organized the event, will be proud of the crowd that attended, with estimates being well over 500. Jay stated that he hopes this helps to bring in more activities for Salinan's. And from the turn-out, it appeared it was a successful event.

The day was unseasonably cool, with the high in upper 70s with cloud cover and a slight breeze. It was a day to have a fun time!

Charlee McGuire, who is 6 years old and celebrates her birthday on July 4th, wowed the crowd when she delivered the National Anthem with the most beautiful voice ever. Great Job, Charlee!! (Photo by Diane Dowell)
