The Kansas Highway Patrol worked an injury accident on Tuesday, May 16 in southern Saline County.

The KHP report indicates that the accident occurred 10:05 am, at 2440 Water Well Rd Eastbound, or Water Well Rd 1 mile East of Ohio St. A 2004 Yamaha Motorcycle, driven by a 20-year-old Salina man, was traveling East on Water Well Rd. Due to high speeds, the driver lost control and braked. The motorcycle crossed the Westbound lane of travel and struck a guardrail on the North edge of Water Well Rd.

The driver, who was reported to have been wearing a helmet, was transported to SRHC by EMS for suspected serious injuries.
