In a recent incident on Monday, June 26, at approximately 12:45 pm, an injury accident occurred in the 1700 block of W Crawford. A white 2011 Toyota Corolla, driven by a 24-year-old man, was traveling eastbound on Crawford. The driver reportedly attempted to make a left-hand turn into the Taco Bell parking lot, crossing paths with a dark purple 2003 Honda motorcycle driven by a 26-year-old man. The motorcycle collided with the passenger side of the Corolla.
The motorcycle rider sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to SRHC for medical treatment. The driver of the Toyota was citated.
