On Thursday, October 26, at 5:37 am, officers were dispatched to the campus of Kansas Wesleyan University at 100 Claflin.
Security personnel at KWU reported that their surveillance cameras had captured a peculiar occurrence. Around 2 am, the footage showed a silver and white SUV entering the school's parking lot. A male and two females exited from the vehicle, making their way to the campus water fountain. The individuals poured soap into the fountain before making an exit.
Preliminary estimates indicate that the cost to drain, clean, and refill the fountain is estimated at $1,500. However, if the pump and pipes are damaged, this significantly escalates the overall repair costs.
