Man Stabbed in Central Salina

On the afternoon of December 10, at 3:21 pm, officers responded to a stabbing incident in the 1200 block of S Santa Fe. Upon arrival, officers discovered a potential suspect, 37-year-old Xavier Valle. The victim, a 40-year-old man, was located at SRHC. Both the suspect and victim are reported to reside in the same apartment complex, where ongoing issues, primarily related to noise complaints, had been documented between the two.

The incident unfolded when the two individuals encountered each other on the front porch of the complex. A confrontation ensued, resulting in the victim allegedly sustaining multiple stab wounds, including the right side of the abdomen, two lacerations on the right side of the head, and a bite mark on the right cheek. The weapon used was believed to be a small pocket knife. Valle was taken into custody on the requested charge of aggravated battery.
