In an incident on Saturday, June 17 at 7:25 am, officers were dispatched to the Salina Airport for the presence of a man who had allegedly jumped the fence onto airport property. The individual, identified as 32-year-old Jesus Alberto Mendez-Diaz, was allegedly seen by staff, walking around the runway.
Airport staff approached Mendez-Diaz, walked him back to the terminal, and officers arrested him on the requested charge of trespassing.
