On July 7 at 8:45 pm, police responded to a disturbance at Hawthorne Park, 715 North 9th Street. A 20-year-old woman reported that she was with her children when Hunter Bowen, 33, of Salina, approached them, yelling profanities and causing fear.
Bowen also confronted a 20-year-old man in the park, pushing him multiple times and threatening to kill him. Several witnesses observed the incidents. Police found Bowen still at the park and arrested him for criminal threat, battery, and disorderly conduct.
