On Sunday, October 29, at 2:45 pm, officers were sent to the Department of Children and Family Services, 901 Westchester, for a possible intruder discovered inside the premises. Cleaning staff reportedly found the individual sleeping within the building, who then alerted a staff member to contact the police.
The alleged trespasser, identified as 35-year-old Aldo Steffen, appears to have also drank water bottles from a mini fridge on the premises. Steffen was arrested on the requested charges of burglary and theft.
