SALINA, Kan. β€” A new apartment development in south Salina has begun pre-leasing, offering one- and two-bedroom units along with a breakdown of associated costs and requirements.

Magnolia Village, located at 2500 Virginia Drive, lists rent for one-bedroom units at $795 per month and two-bedroom units at $950. To apply, prospective tenants must pay a $25 non-refundable application fee per adult and a $500 security deposit per unit. Units are leased on a first-come, first-served basis, and the property does not hold apartments without the full deposit.

Additional monthly charges may include:

  • $15 for renter’s liability insurance (mandatory)
  • $50 for high-speed internet (500 Mbps)
  • $50 pet rent per pet (maximum of two), plus a $150 pet deposit per pet
  • $100 for an optional garage rental

Tenants are also responsible for electricity, paid to Evergy, and water and sewer service, billed directly by Magnolia Village.

According to property management, internet service is pre-installed in all units and does not require separate setup fees. Leasing is currently limited to the first three buildings, with a mix of one- and two-bedroom units available.

Salina continues to see gradual housing development, with Magnolia Village representing one of the newer multi-unit offerings in the area. Whether the full cost structure aligns with broader rental trends in Saline County remains to be seen.
