SALINA, KANSAS — The M1918 speakeasy at the Salina Country Club is set to officially open its doors to the public on November 5, expanding access to the Prohibition-era-inspired venue while continuing to offer exclusive privileges to existing members.
The speakeasy concept, which has operated in a soft-launch phase for members and special events, features craft cocktails, elevated small plates, and an atmosphere designed to reflect the clandestine lounges of the 1920s. With the public opening, the Club says members will continue to enjoy priority access and unique experiences not available to general guests.
Member-Exclusive Perks
According to the Club, membership benefits will include:
- Early access to reservations for special events
- Exclusive “Members’ Pours” and limited-release cocktails
- Quarterly invitation-only parties with live music and Prohibition-era snacks
- Priority access to private rentals of M1918 and The Interrogation Room
- Exclusive Interrogation Events on the first Wednesday of each month beginning January 2026
- A monthly Cigar Club launching in 2026, with full details to be announced
The expansion to public access comes as part of the Club’s goal to increase community engagement, while still maintaining the elevated, members-only environment that has defined the speakeasy’s early identity.

M1918 is the newest addition to recent hospitality upgrades within the Salina Country Club, pairing historic inspiration with contemporary craft beverage culture. Staff say the change offers a balance: the public gains a new premium destination, while members retain elevated service, access, and amenities.
