Jan Guerrero bid farewell to her role as an SPD dispatcher on Wednesday, June 28, marking the culmination of an exceptional 36-year career dedicated to safeguarding our community. Commencing her journey with the SPD in 1987 as a police officer, Jan's unwavering commitment and versatile expertise have left an indelible impact on the force and the citizens she has tirelessly served.
Throughout her illustrious tenure, Jan embraced various roles within the SPD, including patrol officer, Drug Task Force detective, Field Training Officer, and Master Patrol Officer. Following her retirement as a sworn officer in 2012, Jan answered the call once again, assuming the role of dispatcher, where she served until this momentous occasion.
