Lindsborg Woman Seriously Injured in Single-Vehicle Crash West of Salina

A 76-year-old Lindsborg woman sustained serious injuries Thursday afternoon after her vehicle left the roadway and struck a culvert west of Salina, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.

Barbara Jo Lundquist was driving a 2018 Nissan Rogue westbound on West State Street near the 10603 block, approximately 1.1 miles west of Reese Road, when the crash occurred at 12:29 p.m.

According to the KHP, Lundquist's vehicle left the roadway and entered the south ditch, where it struck a culvert. The impact caused the vehicle to become airborne before coming to rest in the south ditch, facing westbound.

Lundquist was transported to Salina Regional Health Center with suspected serious injuries. The Kansas Highway Patrol reported she was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
