SALINA, Kan. — A new bronze sculpture has been added to the City of Salina’s public art collection.
The piece, titled Kansas Promise, was donated by former Kansas Governor Bill Graves and Linda Graves. It has been installed at Lakewood Park, where city staff are working to complete signage and landscaping around the site.
The installation expands Salina’s public art holdings, which include works displayed throughout city parks and downtown. Officials said the sculpture represents an ongoing effort to integrate art into community spaces and provide residents with opportunities to engage with cultural assets in everyday settings.
