Kansas Wesleyan's Cole Parker finished in 13th place in the shot put on the final day at the 2023 NAIA Men's Outdoor Track and Field Championships last week.
Parker posted a best mark of 15.81m on his second toss of the day after opening with a 14.96m, and finished with a mark of 15.74m.
Parker edged out Caleb Rutherford of Mount Mercy who had a mark of 15.71m, and just missed 12th place by a centimeter as Luke King of Southern Oregon had a mark of 15.82m.
Midland's Dylan Kucera repeated as NAIA champion in the event, uncorking a 19.41m mark in his final attempt of the day to win the title by nearly two meters over Tanner Nett of Eastern Oregon.
