Kansas Wesleyan Women's Track and Field continued the season as the Coyotes competed in the Bethel Invitational at Thresher Stadium.
Madisyn Ehrlich picked up a win in the 800m with a time of 2:18.36. Joni Schroeder finished eighth in 2:25.97, Josie Koppes finished ninth in 2:26.81, Shelby Lingle placed 11th in 2:28.32, Kierra Jensen placed 13th in 2:34.78, and Allyson Taylor placed 18th in 2:39.05.
KWU had two teams in the 4x400m relay led by a second-place finish from the group of Brionna Floyd, Joni Schroeder, Madisyn Ehrlich and Shelby Lingle with a time of 4:17.16. The team of Josie Koppes, Kierra Jensen, Hallie West and Allyson Taylor finished fourth with a time of 4:35.18.
Elizabeth Stout finished third in the shot put with a mark of 12.45m.
Julie Rottinghaus placed fourth in the 100m with a time of 13.42 seconds in the finals. She finished seventh in the preliminaries with a time of 13.44. Grace Conner placed ninth in the preliminaries with a time of 13.46 seconds.
Julie Rottinghaus placed sixth in the triple jump with a mark of 9.63m, and Dahn Hanlon finished eighth with a mark of 9.56m.
In the 200m, Julie Rottinghaus placed sixth with a time of 27.71 seconds, Brionna Floyd placed seventh in 27.74, and Grace Conner finished 11th in 28.91.
Hallie West placed seventh in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:22.01.
Yamyle Ramirez placed seventh in the long jump with a mark of 4.80m, and Dahn Hanlon finished 10th with a mark of 4.46m.
Elizabeth Stout finished 10th in the hammer throw with a mark of 40.27m.
Elizabeth Stout finished 14th in the discus with a mark of 33.21m.
Coming up next for the Coyotes is the Friends Spring Open that runs April 4-6 at Adair-Austin Stadium in Wichita.
