KWU Women’s Soccer tripped up by Friends 1-0

Kansas Wesleyan Women's Soccer dropped a 1-0 decision to the Friends Falcons on Saturday at Adair-Austin Stadium.
 
Friends converted a 16th minute penalty that proved to be the difference maker.
 
The Coyotes had a couple early chances that were saved by Friends, but could not muster any first half goals.
 
Wesleyan kept up the offensive pressure in the second half, but could not find the back of the net.
 
KWU outshot Friends 21-8, led by eight shots by Precious Nwosu.
 
The Coyotes are back in action on Wednesday at Bethany.
