KWU Women’s Golf Tied for First after First Round of Central Plains Invitational

Kansas Wesleyan Women's Golf sits in a tie for first place after the first round of the Central Plains Invitational at the Salina Country Club.

The Coyotes posted a first-round score of 323, and are tied with Park University for first place in the team standings.

Wesleyan is five shots ahead of Dodge City CC. Evangel is fourth with a 337, Southwestern Christian is fifth with a 343, KWU's B team is sixth with a 356, and Oklahoma Wesleyan is seventh with a 361.

Abby Donovan leads the Coyote finishers sitting tied for second with a first-round 78. Chaney Littell is fifth with a 79, Hannah Hart is 11th with an 82, Ryann Warren is tied for 14th with an 84 and Sarah Krenowicz is tied for 19th with an 85.

Thalia Ramirez shot a 92 and is in 37th place playing as an individual.

KWU's B team sits in sixth place in the standings. Magen Down leads the team tied for 22nd with an 88. Ashlyn Armstrong and Kelsey Essex are tied for 25th with an 89, Savanna Nickum is tied for 29th with a 90 and Morgan McReynolds is 41st with a 97 in the first round.
