KWU Women’s Golf Finishes Fifth at Kyle Blaser Invitational

Kansas Wesleyan Women's Golf posted a fifth place finish in the Kyle Blaser Invitational hosted by Oklahoma City University at The Greens Country Club.
 
The Coyotes posted a score of 689 for the tournament of two rounds, both played on Monday.
 
KWU finished well ahead of Southwestern Christian in sixth with a 711 and USAO who finished seventh with a 740. The Coyotes finished just behind Bellevue who shot a 671, and Central Oklahoma who finished third with a 655.
 
Sarah Krenowicz paced the Coyotes with a 10th place finish with a score of 158. Hannah Hart tied for 25th with a 171, Abby Donovan tied for 32nd with a 178, Thalia Ramirez was 36th with a 182, and Ryann Warren was 43rd with a 195 to round out the team scorers for the Coyotes.
 
KWU also had three medalists in the tournament led by Chaney Littell finishing 30th with a score of 176. Kelsey Essex finished 39th with a 187 and Ashlyn Armstrong finished 40th with a 189.
 
Oklahoma City's Maddi Kamas picked up a 1-shot win in the tournament with a 148, edging out University of Oklahoma's Kaylee Vesely for the individual title.
