KWU Men’s Soccer Knocks Off Tabor 2-0 in KCAC Quarterfinals

Kansas Wesleyan Men's Soccer got two second half goals in a three-minute span to secure a trip to the Kansas Conference semifinals as the Coyotes beat Tabor 2-0 in the conference quarterfinals at JRI Hospitality Stadium.
 
The victory sends the Coyotes to Wichita, and the KCAC semifinals to face Ottawa on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at Stryker Sports Complex.
 
It's the first trip to the conference semifinals for the Coyotes since the 2019 season.
 
Jacob Langebartels scored the first goal for the Coyotes in the 51st minute on a corner kick set piece. The ball was sent in from the right side and bounced off the heads of several players before finally ending up at Langebartels for the score.
 
Abeanya Nundu scored the second goal for the Coyotes in the 54th minute, getting the ball across the middle of the pitch and weaving through several defenders before scoring it.
 
Jesus Moreno had five shots to lead the Coyotes who edged Tabor 13-11 in total tries.
 
Santiago Pagnutti had seven saves to preserve the clean sheet.
