Kansas Wesleyan Men's Soccer ceded four second half goals to the Ottawa University Braves as Ottawa pulled away for a 4-1 win over the Coyotes on Saturday at AdventHealth Field.
The loss was the first in KCAC play for the Coyotes, who fell to 3-1 in the Kansas Conference and 6-3 overall.
Wesleyan was on the board first in the 11th minute on a goal by Jesus Moreno assisted by Kamille Kum.
The match remained scoreless until the 65th minute when Ottawa got the equalizer from Toby Whitham. Just three minutes later, Ottawa grabbed the lead on a goal by Slobodan Novicevic.
The Braves extended their lead in the 73rd on a goal by Bence Molnar and Novicevic added a second goal in the 81st minute for the Braves.
Ottawa outshot KWU 19-10 in the match. Kum had three shots to lead the Coyotes.
KWU is back at home on Wednesday, hosting Tabor.
