KWU Men’s Soccer Draws with Friends 2-2

Kansas Wesleyan Men's Soccer played to a 2-2 draw on Saturday night against the Friends University Falcons at Adair-Austin Stadium.
 
It was the second draw of the season for the Coyotes who moved to 10-4-2 overall and 7-2-2 in the KCAC.
 
Kamille Kum got the Coyotes on the board in the ninth minute scoring on a play where he received a ball from Sebastian Fernandez after he knocked free on a slide tackle to Kum streaking down the near side, outracing two defenders and sliding it just inside the far post for the goal.
 
Friends tied in the 17th minute.
 
Kum scored again late in the first half, again getting a ball and beating several defenders down the pitch and scoring for the Coyotes to make it 2-1 in the 42nd minute.
 
Friends tied it in the 85th minute to force the draw.
 
Friends outshot KWU 15-10 in the match. Kum and Zimbeva led the Coyotes with two shots each.
 
Wesleyan is back in action on Wednesday, heading to Lindsborg to take on Bethany.
