KWU Men’s Golf Finishes 13th at The Battle

Kansas Wesleyan Men's Golf finished 13th out of 17 teams at The Battle, hosted by Grand View University, Iowa, at Laughlin Ranch Golf Club on Monday and Tuesday.
 
KWU posted a score of 906 for the three-round tournament, besting a trio of schools – Arizona Christian, Grand View and Our Lady of the Lake, by four shots. KWU was four shots behind University of Victoria and seven off the pace of Rocky Mountain, who finished 11th.
 
Trevor Watson led the Coyotes tying for 14th with a 3-over score of 219. Ethan Vikander tied for 43rd with a score of 227, Jackson Malone tied for 61st with a 231, along with teammate Hank ReegTyler Tarvin tied for 79th with a score of 235.
 
Michael Robson of Oklahoma City University was the individual champion with a score of 207, 9-under par for the tournament after finishing with a 66 in the third round. He won by one shot over Juan Ricardo Davila Bone of Texas Wesleyan.
 
Keiser University was the team champion shooting an even-par 864 for the tournament, winning by 10 shots over Ottawa Arizona.
