Six students and faculty members from K-State Salina recently partnered with the United States Air Force Academy to work on a joint capstone project called the Extended Reality System for Space Domain Awareness. The project involved the development of a cutting-edge technological platform that combines virtual, augmented, and mixed-reality technologies to boost situational awareness and decision-making in space-related activities. Through this collaboration, the students had the opportunity to collaborate with industry experts and work on a project with significant implications for space-related activities.
