The Kansas Highway Patrol worked an injury accident on Monday, December 11 in Saline County.
The KHP report indicates that the accident occurred at 2 pm, at the intersection of Ohio and North St. A 2005 Honda Accord, driven by a 35-year-old Salina woman, was Northbound on Ohio St. A 2007 Ford Expedition, driven by a 48-year-old Salina man, was Eastbound on North St. A 2008 Ford Expedition, driven by a 37-year-old Bennington man, was Westbound on North St. The Honda ran the stop light and struck the back right corner of the 2007 Ford, which was then pushed into the front bumper of the 2008 Ford.
The driver of the 2007 Ford had a suspected minor injury and was transported to SRHC. The other occupants, including a 21-year-old male occupant of the 2007 Ford, were unijured. All occupants were said to be wearing safety belts.
