The City of Salina will begin demolishing the playground at Kenwood Park starting the week of October 13th, according to Salina Parks & Recreation.
City staff will remove the existing playground equipment to make way for a new playground of similar size. Installation of the new equipment is expected to begin in November.
The project is part of the city's ongoing efforts to maintain and upgrade recreational facilities throughout Salina.
