Injury Accident, Driver Swerves to Avoid Deer

On June 24, at approximately 5:33 am, Jordan Glassburn-Hoesli, 29, of New Cambria, was involved in a single-vehicle accident on Old 40 Highway near Donmyer Road. Glassburn-Hoesli was driving eastbound in a silver 2001 Chevy Silverado when he swerved to avoid hitting a deer. The vehicle veered to the south side of the road, overcorrected, then went into the north side ditch and rolled, eventually coming to rest on its wheels.

Glassburn-Hoesli was transported to Salina Regional Health Center for injuries. The severity of his injuries is currently unknown.
