Kansas Wesleyan Indoor Track and Field split the squad over the weekend sending student-athletes to Topeka for the Washburn Open and to Crete, Nebraska for the Fred Beile Classic hosted by Doane University.
The Coyotes came home with several top performances including a few new school records and more NAIA National Championship qualifying marks.
At the Beile Classic, Brionna Floyd set a new school record in the 200m with a time of 26.73 with a third place finish.
At Washburn, Carter Huyser set a new school record in the men's 800m while hitting the NAIA Automatic mark with a time of 1:53.07, finishing fourth in the race and was the top NAIA finisher.
Also at Washburn Madisyn Ehrlich won the women's 5000m with a time of 18:06.31, hitting the NAIA B standard and Josie Koppes also hit the NAIA B standard with a time of 18:07.68, finishing third.

In the women's 600 yard run, Shelby Lingle finished 16th with a time of 1:32.15, and Joni Schroeder was 18th with a time of 1:32.37.
In the men's 600 yard run, Triston Cottone finished 15th with a time of 1:14.72, Ty Davidson finished 18th with a time of 1:15.16 and Nicolas Martinez finished 31st with a time of 1:18.03.
In the women's 800m, Joni Schroeder finished 25th with a time of 2:24.51, Shelby Lingle finished 30th with a time of 2:26.30, and Allyson Taylor finished 52nd with a time of 2:39.00.
In the men's 800m, Julian Avila finished 21st with a time of 1:57.01, Ty Davidson finished 28th with a time of 1:58.66, Wyatt Johnson finished 35th with a time of 1:59.73, Nicolas Martinez finished 39th with a time of 2:00.54 and Giovanni Rios finished 44th with a time of 2:01.91.
In the women's mile, Madisyn Ehrlich finished ninth with a time of 5:15.95, Josie Koppes finished 14th with a time of 5:18.59, Charlee Lind finished 28th with a time of 5:30.23 and Kierra Jensen finished 31st with a time of 5:32.59.
In the men's mile, Damion Jackson finished 16th with a time of 4:23.09, Giovanni Rios finished 29th with a time of 4:25.85, and Jake Cruz finished 37th with a time of 4:31.35.
In the women's 3000m, Alayna Behrman finished 34th with a time of 11:52.79.
In the men's 5000m, Austin Hess finished ninth with a time of 15:34.28, Shane Calvin finished 15th with a time of 15:44.70, Cisco Alvarez finished with a time of 16:28.27, and Jack Horacek finished 38th with a time of 17:20.18.
The men's distance medley relay team of Julian Avila, Wyatt Johnson, Carter Huyser and Damion Jackson finished sixth with a time of 10:17.89.

Hallie West finished 21st in the women's 200m with a time of 30.48 seconds.
In the men's 200m, Zamari Burrell finished fifth with a time of 23.34, Tyler Fontenot finished 11th with a time of 23.96, DeJaylon Beal was 15th with a time of 24.14, Riley Garcia was 20th with a time of 24.41, and James Preston was 25th with a time of 24.63.
Brionna Floyd finished eighth in the women's 400m with a time of 62.46 and Hallie West was 14th with a time of 1:11.05.
In the men's 400m, Roley Garcia was 12th with a time of 54.49.
In the men's 800m, Triston Cottone was sixth with a time of 2:02.40, Ian Doss was 11th wit ha time of 2:05.75, Tytus Reed was 13th with a time of 2:06.38, Roman Mai was 17th with a time of 2:09.4 and Brodie Bradshaw was 23rd with a time of 2:15.61.
In the men's mile, Ian Doss finished seventh in 4:37.40 and Brodie Bradshaw finished 20th in 4:54.52.
Brenden Ellis won the men's 3000m with a time of 9:09.09.
The men's 4x400m relay team of Triston Cottone, Roman Mai, Tytus Reed and DeJaylon Beal finished sixth with a time of 3:38.47.
In the women's weight throw, Elizabeth Stout finished 30th with a mark of 12.41m.
In the men's weight throw, Simeon Faagai finished 18th with a mark of 14.75m, Cody Flax finished 19th with a mark of 14.71m, and Keegan Lott finished 28th with a mark of 12.79m.
In the women's long jump, Julie Rottinghaus finished 18th with a mark of 4.65m and Dahn Hanlon finished 20th with a mark of 4.57m.
In the men's long jump James Preston finished eighth with a mark of 6.13m.
In the women's triple jump, Julie Rottinghaus finished 11th with a mark of 10.43m, and Dahn Hanlon finished 16th with a mark of 9.95m.
In the women's shot put, Elizabeth Stout finished ninth with a mark of 12.27m and Saffron Jacobs finished 36th with a mark of 9.47m.
In the men's shot put, Keegan Lott finished ninth with a mark of 14.48m, Dylan Worrell finished 12th with a mark of 14.06m, Keyon Baccus finished 17th with a mark of 13.36m, and Simeon Faagai finished 32nd with a mark of 11.88m.
The Coyotes now gear up for the KCAC Track and Field Championships at the Lied Center at the College of Saint Mary in Omaha, Nebraska, sponsored by the Omaha Sports Commission on February 12 and 13.
