On Wednesday, June 14, an incident of shots fired in the 500 block of N 10th resulted in damage to property. The victim is a 42-year-old male from Salina.
SPD responded to reports of shots fired at approximately 1 am. Witnesses reported hearing 2-3 gunshots.
Officers discovered 3 casings belonging to a .380 caliber firearm. A 2001 Chevy Suburban, belonging to the victim, had a bullet hole in its rear driver-side door.
Video from the area shows a white older-model 2-door car in the area. Witnesses confirmed the presence of this vehicle.
