UPDATE: The SWAT team conducted an operation yesterday in the 400 block Baker. The operation, which took place at 8 am, was at the residence of 37-year-old Ryan Howser, in connection to a drug investigation. However, events took an unexpected turn when a second individual, identified as 33-year-old Raesha Jenkins-Bolieu, arrived at the scene and was subsequently taken into custody as another suspect in the investigation.
During the search of Howser's residence, law enforcement officers discovered additional substances believed to be drugs. Howser now faces a series of requested charges including criminal possession of a weapon by a subject addicted to a controlled substance, failure to possess a drug tax stamp, possession of a depressant, possession of an opiate, possession of marijuana, possession of a steroid, possession with intent to distribute an opiate within a 1,000-foot radius of a school, possession of drug paraphernalia, distribution of marijuana, and distribution of methamphetamine.
Meanwhile, Jenkins-Bolieu, the second individual arrested at the scene, is also facing requested charges, including distribution of methamphetamine, distribution of marijuana, failure to possess a drug tax stamp, possession of an opiate, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana.

ORIGINAL: At 8 am on Monday, June 12, there was a heavy law enforcement presence in central Salina. This included Salina Police Department and S.W.A.T team in the 400 block of Baker, between South St and Morrison. Salina311 will have more information as it becomes available.
