The largest toy show in Kansas made a stop in Salina over the weekend.
A variety of collectible toys both old and new filled the 4H Building, as over 200 vendors had toys strewn out on their tables for buying, selling, and even just to look at.
Everything toys was present. Trucks, farm toys, Hot Wheels, trains, airplanes, Matchbox, cast iron toys, pedal cars, tractors, models, dolls, metal signs, banks, games, boats and much more filled the building. Collectors had the opportunity to find the hard to come by toy to complete their cabinet. Those just walking through used it as a moment to remember back to a time when "I used to play with that as a kid" wasn't so long ago.
The annual toy show makes its stop in Salina the Saturday before Thanksgiving. It is one of many events that happen this day, just in time for the Christmas season to begin.
