Gypsum Man Injured in Vehicle Accident

The Kansas Highway Patrol worked an injury accident on Friday, September 29 in southern Saline County.

The KHP report indicates that the accident occurred at 8 pm, on Mentor Rd just East of Kipp Rd or 9.5 miles East of I-135 on Mentor Rd. A 2008 Chevy Impala, driven by a 33-year-old Gypsum man, was Eastbound on Mentor Rd when the vehicle left the roadway on the North side and overturned, landing in the ditch.

The driver was transported to SRHC by EMS with a suspected serious injury. He was reported to not have been wearing a seat belt.
