Gusty Winds and Elevated Fire Danger Predicted for Salina Area Today

Very strong northwest wind gusts between 50 to 60 mph will impact much of the area later this morning through the afternoon. Strong winds will combine with dry conditions leading to elevated fire danger. Any fires that start will be difficult to control.
