Grass Fire in Western Saline County

At 5:15 pm on Friday, August 18, Rural Fire District #6 was dispatched to the 2800 block of S Burma Rd for a grass fire. It's reported that this fire is 1/2 mile south of Salina Speedway, and that a hay baler caught the grass on fire. The RP stated that the fire was breaking through a tree line, stubble, and green grass. Mutual aid was also being sent. Salina311 will have more information as it becomes available.
