Geoprobe® is hosting their Triennial Open House on Thursday, April 25, 2024, debuting new innovations. Founded by two local engineers in 1987, Geoprobe® has been leading the drilling industry in new technology and unmatched service for years. Continuing with tradition, Geoprobe® will be presenting new and updated technology at their outdoor field event located at the company’s manufacturing headquarters in Salina, Kansas. Attendees will be able to watch live demonstrations of drill rigs and tooling, have the opportunity to engage with Geoprobe® engineers and service technicians, as well as take a factory tour.
“Our engineers are actually out in the field running the equipment they have been designing and building for the last three years,” said Geoprobe® President, Tom Omli. “You actually get to interact with the engineers and discuss what you like and maybe something you don’t like as much.”
Geoprobe® takes pride in producing the best possible drilling equipment and not only listening to, but applying, customer feedback. Attendees will be able to see the new equipment in action and view more of the behind-the-scenes work that goes into building their rigs.
On the day prior to the Open House, bonus events will take place at the company’s South Campus. The Direct Image® Workshop, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., will focus on in-situ tooling and technology for environmental and geotechnical work. The Service Center Maintenance Seminar from 1 to 4 p.m. will provide a chance to meet the Geoprobe® service team and learn about both routine and specialized maintenance for rigs. Following these events will be a come-and-go Evening Social from 6 to 7: 30 p.m. at The Garage Automotive Museum in downtown Salina.
Everyone from company owners to drillers, consultants and regulators will be in attendance to witness fieldwork simplified at this outdoor technical training event.
Ronald Goolsby, owner of Brazoria Water Well, attended his first Open House during 2021 and said “It’s a unique event. I’m not aware of anywhere else you can see that many different pieces of equipment running in one place and see where it’s made.”
