The Friends of the Salina Public Library are hosting a Drive Up & Drop Off Book Donation Drive on Saturday, July 22nd from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Anybody is welcome to drive up to the front of the library and volunteers will unload donated materials out of your car for you. Materials that can be accepted include:
- Gently used fiction and nonfiction books for adults and children
- Textbooks and travel books less than three years old
- Audiobooks, CDs, DVDs, and Video GamesNo encyclopedias, magazines, VHS tapes, or homemade recordings can be accepted.
The Friends of the Library use donated materials to sell at their Used Books Sales. All proceeds raised from Used Book Sales go directly to support programs and activities of the Salina Public Library.
