Excitement is building as Friday night approaches at the Salina Speedway, where the action is about to rev up! The highly anticipated return of the Mel Hambelton Ford IMCA Modified division will take place, along with the thrilling Wild 'n Wacky Two-man Cruiser division. Prepare for a spectacular evening with a total of six divisions ready to rev their engines and ignite the track at America's Fast Track to Fun!
The following divisions will be competing:
- Mel Hambelton Ford IMCA Modifieds
- Coors Light IMCA Stock Cars
- Big Corner Creative IMCA SportMods
- Buschhhhhhh Light IMCA Hobby Stocks
- Bird Contracting IMCA Sport Compacts
- Cruisers
EXCITING RACE NIGHT INCENTIVES
Any division that sees at least 20 cars participating will be rewarded with a $500 BONUS added to the payout for their respective division. This bonus will be distributed among the total purse.
Furthermore, any division that boasts a minimum of 30 cars at check-in will receive an impressive $1,000 BONUS in their respective division's payout, which will also be distributed across the total purse.
As an additional incentive, any division that completes the race from green to checkered without any yellow flags will earn the drivers in that division a FREE PIT PASS for the next week's racing event!
Here are the event times:
- Pits Open: 5 pm
- Gates Open: 5:30 pm
- Hot Laps: 7:15 pm
- Racing Starts: 8 pm
PIT PASSES:
- $30 for ages 13 and over
- $15 for ages 6 to 12
- Free for children aged 5 and under
GRANDSTANDS:
- $10 for ages 16 and over
- Free for ages 15 and under when accompanied by a paying adult
- Seniors can enjoy half-price admission
- Military personnel receive free admission with a valid ID
DRIVERS: When checking in, please remember to bring your 2023 IMCA card with you. If you do not have one, you can apply for it during check-in. Additionally, Raceciever radios and Westhold transponders are mandatory. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in disqualification.
