Salina, KS — 8-18-25 — First Bank Kansas is alerting customers to an increased level of fraudulent activity affecting digital transactions. In response, Zelle and Person-to-Person (P2P) transfers have been temporarily disabled to protect account holders and their funds.

First Bank Kansas will never call, text, or email customers requesting personal banking information, including Internet Banking credentials or debit card details. Customers are urged to exercise caution when receiving unsolicited messages:

  • Do not respond to suspicious texts or calls.
  • Do not share login credentials, debit card numbers, or other sensitive information.
  • Do not rely on Caller ID, as it can be manipulated to appear legitimate.
