The Stiefel Theatre will host Tusk, a Fleetwood Mac tribute band, on Wednesday, September 24 at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets for the performance start at $35 and go on sale Friday, August 8 at 10 a.m. They can be purchased in person at the Stiefel Theatre Box Office, online at www.stiefeltheatre.org, or by calling 785-827-1998.
Tusk bills itself as a premier Fleetwood Mac tribute act, performing music spanning the career of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees. The five-piece band has been touring since 2008 under the name "The Classic Fleetwood Mac Tribute."
The group performs both well-known hits and deeper album cuts from Fleetwood Mac's catalog. Each of the five musicians in Tusk specializes in portraying one of Fleetwood Mac's core members: Lindsey Buckingham, Stevie Nicks, Christine McVie, John McVie, and Mick Fleetwood.
According to promotional materials, the band focuses on accurate musical recreations of Fleetwood Mac's songs, performing both solo pieces and full-band arrangements from the legendary group's repertoire.
The September 24 show marks Tusk's appearance at the Salina venue as part of their ongoing national tour.
