Between June 27th and July 5th at 1 am this year, SPD received a total of 80 calls for services due to complaints about fireworks. Comparing this to the corresponding period in 2022, it shows a decline in the number of calls, as last year witnessed 101 reports of similar nature.
An additional 54 calls for service for fireworks from 7 am on July 5th and 7 am on July 6th were reported.
