At 12:15 pm on Sunday, December 10, both Fire District 3 and Fire District 7 attended to a garage blaze in the 100 block of N Main in Bavaria. The 59-year-old owner reported observing a fire erupting in the corner of the structure. Despite his efforts to salvage a vehicle from inside and use a garden hose to quell the flames, the workshop succumbed entirely to the fire. Regrettably, the inferno claimed not only the building but also woodworking tools and various other tools that were housed within.
