Salina311 recently had the opportunity to speak with Alex Harb, Operating Partner for Meddy's Mediterranean Restaurant, about their upcoming opening in Salina. Harb revealed that the tentative opening date for Meddy's is set for no later than February 2025.
When asked why Salina was chosen for their new location, Harb explained, "Trace and Guy Walker came to me asking to put a Meddy's in Salina. The Walkers are great people to work with, and I couldn't say no to them." The Walkers are part of Salina2020, an initiative inspired by a small group of downtown proponents who had already begun investing in the area.
Meddy's is known for offering fresh, healthy, and affordable Mediterranean cuisine. Harb also expressed his enthusiasm for becoming a part of the Salina community and that they look forward to opening this new location and becoming part of the community.
