On Sunday, September 3, at 3:22 pm, first responders were sent to the 2800 block of N Brookville Rd for an injury accident.
A 17-year-old Ellsworth teen was driving south on Brookville Rd, in her white 1997 Ford Explorer, when her tire dropped off the road edge. She managed to get back on the road, but over corrected before swerving back to the right. The vehicle rolled down through a ditch into a pasture, taking out a fence and tree.
The teen had obvious injuries to her arm and a possible broken leg. She was transported to SRHC by EMS. Because she vehicle couldn't be seen from the road, the teen had to crawl up to the road to get help from a passing motorist.
