The candidates are all from the 2026 senior class. They were nominated and voted upon by the Middle and High School student body. Let's meet the candidates:

Throughout high school Delaney has been deeply involved, participating in FFA, FCCLA, National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, cheer, cross country as a manager, track and field, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and 4-H. After graduation, she plans to attend Fort Hays State University, where she hopes to pursue a degree in communication disorders or social work. Delaney says she truly loves being a Cardinal and is thankful for the friendships she has made along the way. She extends her gratitude to her family, teachers, and school staff for always believing in her.

Landon May is the son of Sarah and Justin May. Landon is a multi-sport athlete, competing in football, basketball, and track and field. He is also involved in National Honor Society and Big Brothers Big Sisters. When he is not busy with school or sports, Landon enjoys spending time with friends and playing video games. After high school, he plans to attend a four-year college with the goal of becoming a physical therapist.

Laykin Walker is the daughter of Emily and Tait Walker, and she sends a special shoutout to her little brother Luke in Jordan. Laykin stays busy with 4-H, FFA, Big Brothers Big Sisters, National Honor Society, and Future Business Leaders of America. She enjoys traveling, spending time with friends, and showing goats across the country. Next year, Laykin plans to attend Oklahoma State University, where she will major in Animal Science. Laykin says she is grateful for the village of people who support her and help her succeed.

Trey Williams is the son of Jenna and Robert Hull, and Cody Williams. Trey participates in basketball, football, and track and field, while also being involved in National Honor Society and Big Brothers Big Sisters. In his free time, Trey enjoys playing basketball with friends or relaxing on his PlayStation. She plays volleyball, competes in trap shooting, and enjoys hunting and team roping. Jocelyn currently serves as the Ell-Saline High School Farm Bureau Ag Ambassador. After graduation, she plans to attend Kansas State University to study Agricultural Economics, with plans to pursue a career in agricultural sales. Jocelyn would like to thank her family and God for guiding her and shaping her into who she is today.

Wyatt Allen is the son of Alyse Coley and Vincent Allen. Wyatt participates in football, basketball, track, and youth group. After high school, Wyatt plans to attend Hutchinson Community College to study HVAC. He would like to thank God, his family, his girlfriend, his brother Tyty, and especially Grandma Joyce. This one’s for you.

Tonight, we are joined by last year’s sweetheart royalty, Kaylin Hornseth and Garrison Zerger. They are assisted by our crown bearers, Conrad Bremmerman, son of Tim and Steph Bremmerman, and Norah Tinay, daughter of Junior and Stephanie Tinay.
